About This Course

Prepare for KNEC Craft Certificate in Sales and Marketing Module II Economics with four complete theory past-paper lessons: March/April 2023, March/April 2024, July 2024 and November 2024. The curriculum uses examination-year chapters and a separate lesson for each sitting.

All 60 printed examination questions and their subparts are answered in 81 Answer sections. The examination requires a selection from Section B; the revision lessons cover every printed question so that you can practise the full range of topics.

Economics topics covered

Review economic systems, human wants, opportunity cost, production, firms, labour, entrepreneurs and economies of scale. Practise demand and supply, elasticity, market structures, pricing and the effects of changes in market conditions.

The papers also cover money and banking, inflation, unemployment, public revenue and expenditure, national income, population, international trade, exchange-rate systems and economic development. Answers explain how each point addresses the question rather than providing headings alone where an explanation is required.

Graphs and worked calculations

Four clear diagrams show an increase in demand, an increase in supply, the two-sector circular flow of income and the effect of increased supply on market equilibrium. Labels and arrow directions have been checked against the question requirements.

The July 2024 bread-market calculation is presented in a working table: equating demand and supply, solving for price, finding equilibrium quantity and calculating the change in supply at a new price. Use the table to follow each stage, then repeat the calculation independently.

How to revise

Begin with a sitting and attempt its short questions. For each Section B task, identify the command word and the requested number of points. Practise drawing and labelling diagrams yourself. Check your answer against the explanation and note any assumptions needed for the economic relationship.

This course covers the four distinct Economics papers available for Module II in the supplied archive. Duplicate scans are represented once. It does not claim to cover every Module II unit. The answers are independent revision responses, not official KNEC marking schemes.
