KNEC Diploma in Sales and Marketing — Module II
About This Course
Revise KNEC Diploma in Sales and Marketing Module II Quantitative Methods with three complete theory past-paper lessons: July 2020, March/April 2024 and July 2024. The course is organised into examination-year chapters for 2020 and 2024, with a separate lesson for each sitting.
All 21 printed examination questions are answered, organised into 42 main question parts with their full subparts. Questions and numerical data have been checked against the supplied scans. Each question is followed by a clearly labelled Answer, with calculations presented in working tables rather than compressed into long paragraphs.
What the papers cover
- Mathematics and statistics: matrices, differentiation, grouped-data averages, quartiles, percentiles, standard deviation, mean deviation, coefficients of variation and skewness.
- Business analysis: correlation, regression, least-squares trends, moving averages, price and quantity index methods, sampling and data collection.
- Decisions and finance: probability, investment decision criteria, compound interest, present value, net present value and critical-path project scheduling.
Learn with worked examples and diagrams
Six labelled figures support the questions that require a drawing: a newspaper-readership Venn diagram, a project network, a cumulative-frequency curve, a national-income pie chart, a probability tree and a percentage component bar chart. The corresponding tables explain how each figure and result is obtained.
Attempt each question using a scientific calculator and your own working paper before comparing your answer. Retain unrounded values until the final step. Read source notes where a scan omits its examination heading, repeats an investment label or leaves a probability assumption unstated.
This collection covers the three available Quantitative Methods theory papers. It is not a complete collection of every Module II unit. These independent revision answers are not official KNEC marking schemes.
