Web Development Foundations: HTML, CSS and JavaScript
About This Course
Build a foundation in web development through the HTML, CSS and JavaScript lessons listed in the curriculum. Start with a simple web page, add styling and practise basic browser programming.
How to learn
Follow each lesson in order. Type the examples yourself, view the result in your browser and change one thing at a time to see how it behaves. Keep your practice files in a separate folder so you can return to earlier versions.
The current curriculum focuses on introductory web skills. Check the lesson list before choosing this course as part of your learning plan. React, Node.js and MongoDB are outside the current lesson coverage.
If an example is unclear or a link fails, send the lesson title and a description of the problem through our Contact page.
