Units and examination sittings
Communication Skills, Financial Accounting and Information Communication Technology (Theory) each have separate March/April and July 2024 lessons. Fundamentals of Project Management, Resource Mobilization and Project Financing are covered by July 2024 papers.
Communication and project skills
Practise workplace communication, interviews, report writing, a formal appreciation letter, an internal memorandum and complete AGM minutes. Both comprehension passages are included with contextual vocabulary answers and summaries. Project-management answers cover project selection, proposals, work breakdown structures, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, team development and termination.
Resource-mobilization revision addresses donor meetings, funding proposals, partnerships, stakeholder participation, fundraising events and online campaigns. Answers develop the requested number of distinct points where explanations are required.
Accounting, finance and ICT
Follow ledger accounts, error corrections, depreciation and disposal, bank reconciliation, cash books, petty cash, control accounts, club accounts and financial statements. Calculations are presented in working tables so you can follow each step. Finance answers explain funding choices, capital costs, investment appraisal and discounted cash flows.
ICT lessons include network and CPU diagrams, a data-processing diagram and reproduced document and spreadsheet extracts. These support questions about office applications, computer systems, data processing, security and networking.
Study approach and scope
Attempt each question independently before opening its answer. Compare your method, number of points, workings and final result. Some supplied papers contain incomplete inputs or inconsistent printed figures; the relevant answers explain the issue and any assumption, rather than inventing a balancing amount.
This course covers all nine Module I theory papers available in the supplied archive. The Project Financing paper is included according to its printed unit code. Practical papers are excluded. This is coverage of the supplied collection, not a claim to include every historical sitting or the entire qualification syllabus. The answers are independent revision responses, not official KNEC marking schemes.
